Our story
A family-run riverside resort at the foothills of the Himalaya.
Ganga Kinare began with a simple idea: that the most restorative place to rest is beside moving water. Over twelve years we have grown from a handful of cottages into a thirty-four-key resort, but the idea has not changed.
Every suite is oriented to the river. Every meal is cooked from produce grown in the valley. Our team — most of whom have been with us for a decade — are from villages within an hour of the property, and they carry the warmth of Garhwali hospitality into everything they do.
We are careful stewards of the land. We harvest rainwater, compost every scrap of kitchen waste, run on solar for hot water and have planted over four thousand native trees along the bank.
